Girish Karnad

Girish Karnad the veteran playwright,actor ,film and theater personality passed away at the age of 81 on Monday 10 June 2019 in Bangaluru.

His soul may rest in peace. Girish Raghunath Karnad was recipient of Jnanpith Award in 1998 the highest literary honor conferred by the Govt.of India.He was also awarded by Padmashri and Padmabhushan by govt. of India.He won four film fare award. Three film fare award for best Director in Kannada and fourth film fare is  best screenplay award.

He worked in south Indian cinema and Bollywood,also in Marathi film.Girish Karnad is known as a playwright. His plays written in Kannada ,have been translated into English and some Indian languages.Kannada is his language of choice.

'Commander' of acting ,the veteran Marathi actor Ramesh Bhatkar passed away on Monday ,4 Feb.2019 at the age of 69.May his soul rest in peace.

Ramesh Bhatkar was  famous Marathi film,stage and TV actor. He played various roles in Marathi film.He was best known for his role as a police inspector in the TV series Commander and Hello Inspector. He worked for more than 309 years as an actor in mainstream commercial films of Marathi as well Hindi.

The veteran Marathi actor Kishore Pradhan has died at the age of 86 on 12 January 2019.He worked in both Marathi and Hindi films as well in Marathi Theater.
He was famous for his role in Sanjay Datta starrer Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Jab We Met.
